Scribe is: Outlook without the fat. Made to run on Windows and BeOS.
Features an easy to use interface, split view of folders and items,
handles attachments, signatures, drag and drop and has an address book.
Installation is as easy as unzipping the archive into a directory,
uninstall is deleting the directory.

There is a commercial version of Scribe called InScribe. It has a few extra features and is reasonably priced. If you use and like i.Scribe and want to support the program's author then register the program. Otherwise just continue using the freeware i.Scribe.Contact Information
